Maritime Tents would not be able to provide the efficient, friendly, top-notch service that we are known for if it weren’t for our team of motivated and enthusiastic individuals who strive every day to bring you the best service possible. You’re only as good as your team and we are fortunate enough to have the best team in the province.

Our humble beginnings...

What started in 2003 with a rental truck, my Dad’s “free help” and sheer determination has grown into decades of combined experience, thousands of events and hundreds of satisfied customers! While we have grown exponentially over the years, our hands-on approach remains the same and the family is still actively involved. While Dad is no longer “on the road”, he’s moved into Sales and my wife and business partner, Natalie manages several events in our portfolio. Our two boys (Noah and Nathan) even help-out from time to time!

Opportunity from necessity...

Our trade show rental company (Darwin Event Group) experiences an industry wide “slow down” during the summer months. There are very few conventions and conferences planned in July and August because of summer holidays. Due to the volume of our inventory, we deliver tables and chairs to outdoor festivals and concerts in the summer. Over the years, the common denominator at these outdoor events always seemed to be the Darwin Event Group and various tent supplier’s. Like any good entrepreneur, I saw an opportunity … we had the trucks, the staff, the time and the warehousing capacity. After much research and deliberation over the winter of 2012, our sister company Maritime Tents was born.

What sets Maritime Tents apart?

Our high-quality inventory is in excellent condition and is periodically rotated ensuring that your rental equipment will look great for your event! Our white chairs are cleaned every time they are returned to our warehouse. One of the most frequent compliments that we receive is how impressed our customers are with the cleanliness of our tents. Many clients have used other suppliers for years before attending an event where they see our sparkling white tents and now are “life-long” customers. We clean every tent, every time it is used! We understand that if something goes wrong, Murphy’s Law suggests that it’s going to happen after normal hours. We can be reached 24/7 by phoning our after-hours emergency number.
